The Role
As we continue to grow as QuidelOrtho, we are seeking an experienced CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) Administrator with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in CPQ solutions, preferably in [specify industry, e.g., SaaS, manufacturing, etc.]. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and optimization of our CPQ platform to streamline quoting processes, enhance operational efficiency, and support sales teams
This position is remote eligible but will require onsite presence for business needs.
The Responsibilities
- Administer and manage the CPQ system, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
- Collaborate with sales, finance, and marketing teams to gather requirements and implement CPQ solutions that meet business needs.
- Configure product catalogs, pricing rules, discount structures, and quote templates within the CPQ system.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to CPQ processes, configurations, and best practices.
- Monitor system usage and provide training and support to end-users to maximize the effectiveness of the CPQ tool.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in CPQ processes and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Work closely with IT and other stakeholders to integrate CPQ with CRM, ERP, and other business systems.
- Manage change requests and system updates, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to CPQ solutions and provide insights to the team.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
The Individual
Required:
- 3-5 years of experience in CPQ administration, configuration, and support, with a proven track record of successful implementations.
- Strong knowledge of CPQ tools (e.g., PROS., Salesforce CPQ, Apttus, Conga, Oracle CPQ, etc.) and related technologies.
- Experience with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, is highly desirable.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting to support decision-making processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in CPQ or related technologies is a plus.
- Ability to travel up 10% - domestically.

The Work Environment
No strenuous physical activity, though occasional light lifting of files and related materials is required. 30% of time in meetings, working with team, or talking on the phone, 70% of the time at the desk on computer, doing analytical work. Minimal travel required. Travel includes airplane, automobile travel and overnight hotel.
Physical Demands
Typically, 40% of time in meetings; 60% of time at the desk on computer/doing paperwork/ on phone, doing analytical work. Walking, standing, and sitting for long periods of time are routine to accomplish tasks in this role. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision and the ability to adjust focus. Ability to travel on short term notice.
Salary Transparency
The salary range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills, geography, and abilities of the candidate, in addition to internal equity and alignment with market data. At QuidelOrtho, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $125,000 and is bonus eligible. QuidelOrtho offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, along with a 401(k) plan, employee assistance program, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, paid time off (including sick time), and paid Holidays. All benefits are non-contractual, and QuidelOrtho may amend, terminate, or enhance the benefits provided, as it deems appropriate.
