Front Desk Coordinator Lead - Plastic Surgery - 133674

Job Description

DESCRIPTION

Under the direction of the Practice Manager, the Front Desk Coordinator is the first point of contact for patients. The Front Desk Coordinator performs and coordinates front office patient centered duties, to include, but not limited to, greeting patients, co-pay collection, appointment scheduling, authorizations and referrals. The Front Desk Coordinator serves as aresource for patients, physicians, staff, and ambulatory care managers. Other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • A minimum of four years front office (check in/out, referral coordination, office administration) experience within an ambulatory clinic in an academic healthcare setting.
  • Plastic and reconstructive surgery experience.
  • Experience with on-the-job training of front desk coordinators.
  • Excellent teamwork competencies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
  • Intermediate transformational leadership skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • One year in a cosmetic or plastic surgery setting.
  • Experience opening schedule templates.
  • Experience with fast pay cash collection.
  • Bilingual.
  • EPIC.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
  • Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs. May be required to float to other sites to provide coverage as needed. Possible overtime.
  • Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $63,016 - $78,384 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $30.18 - $37.54

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
